Hi everyone:
This past weekend saw mixed conditions. Friday night had decent conditions although, as usual, there were few stations on the air. By the time I got up late on Saturday, 48 m had already completely faded out, but the rest of the day saw reasonable conditions on the higher bands (Mike Radio had quite a good signal on 9290 with very low power). As well, Borderhunter had a great show Saturday night on 3905 with quite good reception.
Sunday morning started okay. Although Radio Tina was very weak, Geronimo put in a decent signal and MagicAM (a new station for me) was loud enough for a clear ID. Unfortunartely, as soon as it started to get light here (around 1000 UTC), signals on 48 m completely faded out. By 1030, even Marconi and Borderhunter were barely audible.
Overall, receptions were better than the past two weeks, but still not back to the exceptional conditions of a month ago.
