I'm looking for 200-400W Shortwave AM transmitter, because I want to start my own FREE radio on Shortwave and to cover most of Europe. I don't want something special, just transmitter with power of 200W or more, frequency tuning and audio input to connect to my laptop. Where I can buy one? I'm completely newbie.

				Hello and welcome!
If you are a complete newbie, I suggest reading this and other forums on the topic. There is far more involved than the transmitter (it's actually the last step).
- Programming
- Schedule
- Location
- Safety (Is your location congruent to and are you capable of safe setup? Will your location be interfering with emergency or essential services?)
- Sound processing
- Filters
- Antenna(s)
- What transmitter would be effective? (this takes a bit of engineering. Your QTH may be ideal get out all over the EU with 20W, or it may be in a hole and it's 100KW or forget about it)
If you don't want to go theough that, I suggest you limit yourself to 5 or 10W and go for a small community station.
Cheers!

In my home country no one monitor the shortwave bands and my transmitter will be in a place, high in the mountain, in a small village with 50 people popullation. I have read a lot about the pirating on shortwave and I'm going to broadcast four or five hours a day

In the Balkans there are no functioning radio tracking stations.

Good luck with your hobby!

				HI there,
you should ask any people at the following chat for such kind of transmitter :
www.easyshopdiscountzone.com/radio/pirate/english/
From time to time there will be any of them, who are able to build such a transmitter
(e.g. you can ask Cupid if he will build such one for you, only a tip!).
Greetings (also from the mountains here!),
Caroline.
