What happened?

This is the quietest weekend I can remember.

Were conditions that poor?I don't think they were,40m and Echo Charlie 45m were open enough.
So what happened to 48m?

The weather was good here in The UK,which may explain the lack of UK Pirates.But I got the impression
the weather was not so good on The Continent.
So what happened?

My UNID on 6325 today proved that conditions were not a problem.There was no speech or ID from
him,but from the signal,mod and records played I know this was a station well known to us all.
I just can't quite pinpoint who it was........

FRSH were the only real show in town and I managed to listen to a lot of their programmes.
Very good.
I heard recordings of the London FM Pirate from the 1980's JFM and of the SW UK Pirate Radio Pluto.
Some very interesting stuff in "FRSH Goes DX" and some great music from Dave Scott.
I love some of the jingles too.

Hello Andy,

Not sure what happend, in the morning I got also an unid, but didn't wrote it down so could be he was on 6325 but 3605 or 6310 was also posible. He went on and off.
Also got good signal from Altrex and Cupid, and did listen to R. Zanusi on mw 1512kc for a while. By my self I was to tired and needs the rest.
