Jamming ... ?

Heard Laser Hot Hits ID at 14.50 utc ... fading a bit from s5 up to s9. Okay when s9, but that "jamming" noise (whatever it is) drowns it out at s5. There are various other forms of QRM as well at the moment, its all a bit messy. BRI was coming in very well here for while this morning at 0...

Maybe not IRIB ???

Hi Again George, The only slight problem with the IRIB "theory" is that I listened to the French TX yesterday and they appear to be more or less exactly on 6265 kHz ... ? Either way, it's a bit late to now (two days after the event). So I guess we'll never know for sure. Best 73's ... Robin

Overall RR for Friday on 6235

Another cracking show by The Wolfman Jack on The Mighty KBC, this week on the new frequency of 6235 kHz. Now free of any QRM from Cairo, reception has improved overall. Still around the same strength as other weeks (fading slightly between "s9-s9+20") and with little, or no, audible noise ...

Now hearing The Wolfman Jack show on 6235 kHz s9 - s9+20 here in Guernsey, but also getting occaisional UTE QRM at 22.10 utc.
It's not actually drowning the transmission, but it is a bit annoying.

Okay now at 22.18 utc ...
