Weather permitting, I'll string up the dipole in hour or two and put the plate-modulated valve transmitter on air for a few hours. The battery is just finishing its charge so should be good for a run tomorrow as well.
6200 Khz (BC stations permitting!) 1 watt out into a 1/2 size loaded dipole from around 1PM UTC onwards.

OSR

The inconspicuos bright-yellow (no, really!) TX is now off and all the gear sitting in the bag. If the weather permits we will be on again tomorrow too, no doubt taking a hammering from Deutsche Welle (Dutscheland funk anyone? ). Oh, and we'll pack suficent batteries so that we don't have a sudden loss of program.
New xtals will soon be liberated from a manpack transceiver.

OSR
