I guess you don't expect good reception reports from your own city on Short Wave.6275 poor reception, almost inaudible.819 - just some noise. But 3940 is not bad - listenable.Shame really as the programmes sound interesting.Come on Dave, how about an FM service for us poor Londoners?

A FM service maybe difficult as I don't live any where near London!
And the other guys ain't got enough get up and go!
Surprised that your not getting the 819 though.

I was only kidding about the FM.As the weekend has progressed the signals have got better, don't know if this is due to conditions or your own actions.3940 is pretty solid all the time, but 6275 was even better around midday.
I'm in NW.London so it's not that much of a surprise that I can't copy 819 and there is a Spanish station on there too.But I'll try to listen late tonight to see what I can hear.
Hats off to you Dave(And the rest of the crew) a great effort & some brilliant programmes too. With so few Briitish Pirates on these days it makes you proud to be British!
Being an anorak I especially enjoyed Steve Underground's programme. But all the shows smack of classic British Free radio.
Good luck to you all & I'll be listening out for future broadcasts.
BTW,I know now what that test on 6275 the other week was about!

Hi Dave,

Heard 819 in the end,not late last night but at around midday today. Not very strong but nice & clear.Heard "War of the Worlds" perfectly. Not bad considering how far away from me the TX site must be.
Can you tell us what sort of power, aerial & earth you were running?Or is that confidential?
