PIRATE (Euro). 6224.62, Orion Radio, 0710-0817 Feb 27, Detected their carrier as early as 0710, but couldn't be sure there was a station here due to heavy utility and voice traffic on the frequency. Came back to this at 0804, and was lucky to catch a clear ID: "Good morning this is Orion Radio from the Netherlands...6225...", followed by CCR's "Someday Never Comes." SINPO 22332. (Maroti-NY)

PIRATE (Euro). 6239.5, Hobart Radio Int'l via JRRI, 0144-0156* Feb 27, A pleasant surprise that Joe Vincent turned his transmitter on so late. I heard songs by Joni Mitchell, Beach Boys and Sonny & Cher. Very difficult to understand what the OM DJ said, but I recognized the sign-off tune of HRI. Tough copy due to a pulsing utility station. PIRATE (Euro). 6239.5, JRRI, 0157-0235 Feb 27, "Big Bill's Country Classics" featuring nice bluegrass music that you just don't seem to hear anywhere. Signed on with what sounded like barnyard animals. Recognized "Lonely Goatherder" from the Sound of Music. Signal improved somewhat after the HRI relay, SINPO was 32333 during the peak. (Maroti-NY)

PIRATE (Euro). 6275.26, Tower Radio, 0747-0800 Feb 27, Mostly Dutch folk music. Heard "Do the Hustle" with some voice-overs at 0750. Was lucky to catch a nice clear English ID at 0756, followed by a version of "Rocking All Over the World". The strongest Europirate on the bands this morning. SINPO 33333. (Maroti-NY)

PIRATE (Euro). 6305.12, Radio Mazda, 0651-0738 Feb 27, Heard polka music at tune-in, but signal only became worse. Very hard to copy the OM DJ. Around 0707 it sounded like a polka version of either "Happy Days Are Here Again", or "When the Saints Go Marching In". ID per Valko log. There was some local noise that disturbed this reception for me. First time log of them for me. SINPO 23232. (Maroti-NY)
