PIRATE (Euro). 6239.4, JRRI, 0230-0650 Oct 2, Just a carrier here in New York, which unfortunately never broke into any audio. I checked a web receiver in Europe around 0650 and heard some country/bluegrass music and an ID. (Maroti-NY)
PIRATE (Euro). 6266.4, Alfa Lima Int'l, 2311-2355 Oct 1, Difficult copy due to atmospheric QRN. Also, modulation was a bit on the low side when I first tuned in, but Alfred tweaked something later which greatly improved intelligibility. Nearby utility QRM made it necessary to turn off the AGC. PIRATE (Euro). 6275, Swinging Radio England, 2333-0048 Oct 1, Sounded like one of Tony Randall's shows, with a drinking song and a live sound as if the show were taking place in a pub. Jingle ID at 2335. Strong audio despite the atmospheric QRN. SINPO 24232. (Maroti-NY)
