Some weekend logs from Guernsey (20/21.Nov.)

Post by Robin Banneville »

:ahowy:

One of the only problems with SWLing / DXing as a hobby, especially where listening to (and logging) pirate stations is concerned, is that I could quite easily spend all weekend near my rigs in the shack. Unfortunately, weekends being what weekends are, means that I can only listen in sporadically. :-({|=
Nevermind, here are a few stations I did manage to catch last saturday evening and sunday (20th, and 21st, Nov).
----------------------------------------------------------
Time(utc) : Station : Freq.kHz : SIO : Brief notes.

[Saturday. 20th, Nov.]
=
23.20 : Radio Korak : 3927 : 344 : (OM with ID, s/down 23.25ish...)
23.55 : Radio Titanic : 1636 : 333 : (OM with ID, email addy etc... and mx...)

[Sunday. 21st, Nov.]
=
00.01 : UNID : 1645 : 233 : (OM with MoR and pop mx...) :?:
00.06 : UNID : 1622 : 222 : (Dutch mx...?) :?:
08.55 : JRRI : 6239.6 : 233 : (OM with ID, and alt mx...)
09.00 : Continental Radio : 6303.4 : 333 : (E-mail addy, Dutch mx etc...)
11.55 : Radio Spaceshuttle : 13805 (lsb) : 222 : (Test tx. ID heard...)
15.20 : Radio Titanic : 6300.9 : 333 : (OM with ID and mx...)
16.10 : Valley Wave Radio : 6306.6 : 333 : (OM with ID, rock and alt mx...)
19.50 : UNID : 6310 : 323 : (Pop mx... s/down at approx 20.00 - ID was heard, before shutdown, but I didn't quite catch it...) :(
------------------------------------------------------------

Finally (although I didn't actually log it) I did catch a station on 6385 kHz at approx 14.30 utc on sunday (sio about 222). I couldn't stop to listen for long, and didn't hear any ID, but I do think it was probably a British station. Anybody got any ideas :?: :?:

73's for now... Happy DXing... \:D/
