Nice music om 6312

Already for some time now I am listening on 6312 to a strong and steady signal (s9 to S9+15 dB's) with nice music (at least that's my opinion :P )

Although with awful understandable tunes.

So, did not yet catch any ID.

Anybody with more info ?

Re: Cologne calling

Yes Axel, you are absolutely correct in your observations. Unfortionally is it showed out that I blew up my negative peak limiter, (bandwidth reduction for over 100% modulation-depths) that evening, because of a bad connection in the coax/antenne plug. At least I hope that this was de cause of all p...

Ah, Axel, cheer up. :D

There should be enough to hear on MW (or even 76 meters) at Cologne if you ask me.

At least if I see some MW reports comming by some now and then for much larger distances.

The Dutch station will be able to better explain it to you On medium wave, Dutch stations from the past were using tube based receivers containing a so called 'cats-eye' as a signal strength indicator. When the 'eye' was completely filled with a 'green lighting surface' this cooresponded to 100% si...

Re: Barones in QSO with Serbians - Sat 19.1.2008

Yes, I must admit. This was a very nice QSO, a pleasure to listen to.

Although I doubt if the Serbian station(s) did receive Radio Blue Star.
At least I did not hear them mentioning Blue Star.

<edit>
Ah, below I see that they did receive Blue Star. That's nice and usefull information. Tnx.

Looking at your avatar and trying to figure out the reason(or reasons) behind your "high power " usename This has nothing to do with High-power or so. Just look up the loggings from Axel from Cologne overhere on the Forum and things will become a bit more clear. Concerning WMR, who am I t...

Hi, hi, it seems that after fighting the Dutch some UK stations/listeners found another victim... Why not leave things as they come and go ? If WMR does not broadcast, OK. If they do, even better. And if the website is up or not. So what ? Just tune your receiver and see/hear what's happen...

Yep, that's correct. Technically spoken, I was using a collinear array of two end-fed full wavelenth radiators. It seems to work very nice for the long(er) distances, but local signals are somewhat disappointing. But that's the principle of antennas: With equal power, when signal is increased in cer...

Re: Logs from South-West of France - Sunday, December 13

Tnx for the logging.

It seems latest antenne is working rather nice for 'DX', however (as expected) local signal is a bit troublesome.
(but this could be more related to the poor local propagation nowadays)
Unfortionally my neighbour does need his acres again when spring arrives.

Re: European Free Radio Report from Dunlo, PA, USA, 2 Dec. 2

Hello Dave, tnx for the recording. Amazing how the signal came through at the remote listening site last Saturday evening, even better than a lot of local recordings I got. As I already told you on the TS server, it's my observation that when local conditions are disappointing DX conditions are most...
