Unfortunately no one seems to be able to hear you... I had a try and nothing. Some of the DXers in Iann's chat also had a listen but could not hear anything either - and they were in France, Spain and Germany! How much power do you use? Maybe you could increase power or make adjustments to your ante...

The relay via Mystery was Red Sands Radio - a RSL broadcasting from Whitstable Harbour, Kent, on 87.7FM until July 31.
The Red Sands Forts in the North Sea can't be used this year due to winter storm damage.

Hello Terry, Another interesting set of logs - 2100 would correspond with sunset in UK, although now we have passed the summer equinox the evenings are starting to draw in. On a style point, on your logs the dates in navy blue are very difficult to read against a black background! A lighter blue may...

I looked up to see who relays Br Stair - its the Wertachtal transmitter in Germany (Deutsches Telekom) - one of the biggest relayers on SW. All I can imagine is he is paying for the full 500kW which is why is splattering all over 49mb. I would have thought half that power would be adequate in the ev...

Hi Dave, An interesting article looking at changes in SW pirate radio over the past 20 years or so. I agree there has been a steady decline in SW pirates from the UK, so nowadays you can count on one hand the number of regular stations still taking to the air - Bogusman and Merlin are probably the m...
