Ohms Law Calculator

Enter any two known values and press "Calculate" to solve for the others. For example, a 100 watt light bulb operating on 120 volts AC will have 144 ohms of resistance and will draw 0.833 Amps. Enter 100 in the Watts field and 120 in the Voltage field and press Calculate to find the resistance and current. Fields should be reset to 0 before each new calculation.

Voltage (E) = Current (I) * Resistance (R) Power (watts) = Current Squared (I^2) * Resistance (R) Power = I*E = E^2 / R

Half wave Dipole and Inverted V Antenna Calculator

This calculator use the standard formula 142.6464/freq. (Mhz) to calculate the dipole lenght. But there are more factors to make a good antenna like the wire You use and the high above the ground.

In this formula the number 142.6464 = the standard 150 minus 5% for copper wire. After calculating make each leg of the antenna 100mm longer. Then cut 10mm from each leg until You have best SWR, on center freq.

Enter The (center) Frequency For The Dipole/Vee Antenna Calculation
Use entries like 6.300, 7.120, 144.200, 144.225, etc...

Divided by Freq MHz

% smaller for the Inverted Vee

Your dipole's total length is meter
Each leg of the dipole is      meter

Your Inverted Vee's total length is meter
Each leg of the Inverted Vee is      meter

The angle between the two legs must be from 60 to 120 degrees.
